Taking the win at the Irish Gravity Enduro at the weekend was more than just a win it was the transition from 'being injured' to being a bike racer again.
It was an awesome weekend filled with amazing trails and great craic with loads of lovely people. I was
absolutely loving the bike all weekend and really felt I was riding well on it and having to much fun! I was impressed how confidence inspiring it was on the root littered trails. On race day I was buzzing from the start and had a great time riding round with Fiona putting the blokes to shame as we pedalled passed them on the transitions. Each stage I wanted to hit all the lines I'd planned and that's what I did I messed up a bit on stage 4 but I rode clean all day and won every stage.
This was a perfect way to start the build up to the Tweedlove World Enduro in two weeks time and firmly put this injury to bed. What injury? I'm a bike racer!
