Race Report: Maxiavalanche Vallnord
Sergeant, and AMS ambassador Cedric Gracia, reporting about his experience at this year's Maxiavalanche in Vallnord, Andorra, his home soil. French version at the end of the post:

Sunday I been racing the Maxi Avalanche here in Vallnord bike park, after qualifying 2 th behind Oton I was ready for sunday fight, I knew I will be ready for some hard fight in the pedaling section ! And we did it ! But I was leading the group and I paid the price when Oton and Barreli past me after doing all the climb alone ; ) Lesson learned, on the second final I gave them the money back : ) After a bad start and been in traffic, I work my way to the top and after couple second of racing I was leading the pack again, of course I couldn' t make that mistake twice then I pretend I got a mechanical and stop to the side of the track and let pass Barreli. Barreli was leading the course to the pedaling and I was on his tail, like they did to me in final 1 and then when I was fully recover I place my attack, the cobra attack hahahahaha and then I ride the rest of the track safe and got the win .
I got 2 th overall behind Oton and of course an incredible weekend in Vallnord bike park with perfect dirt condition and great atmosphere. It was nice to see all the people involve in the bike park there and already planing the 2015 world champs.

Dimanche j'ai participé à la Maxi Avalanche ici à Vallnord Bike Park, après avoir fait 2ndaux qualifs derrière Oton ; j'étais prêt pour le round de dimanche, prêt pour un round difficile dans la section de pédalage! Et c’est bien ce qui s’est passé! J’étais en tête du groupe et j'en ai payé le prix quand Oton et Barreli m’ont doublé après avoir fait tout seul la montée ;) J’ai retenu la leçon et sur la deuxième finale je leur ai bien rendu :) Après un mauvais départ où je me suis retrouvé au milieu de tous les autres pilotes, j’ai travaillé mon parcours jusqu’au sommet et après quelques secondes de course je menais de nouveau le groupe, bien sûr, je ne pouvais pas faire cette erreur deux fois de suite alors j’ai simulé un problème mécanique et je me suis arrêté sur le côté de la piste pour laissé passer Barreli. Il menait la course au pédalage et j'étais dans sa roue, comme ils ont fait pour moi à la première finale et dès que j’ai pu récupérer complétement j’ai placé mon attaque, l'attaque du cobra ahahahahah puis j’ai continué sur le reste de la piste en toute sécurité jusqu’à la victoire.
Au classement final je fais second derrière Oton ; ce fût un week-end incroyable à Vallnord Bike Park avec des conditions parfaites et une très bonne ambiance. C'était agréable de voir tous les gens impliqués dans le bike park et qui préparent déjà les championnats du monde 2015.
