    Frame Guards

One of the main features of our honeycomb, adhesive PVC frame guard is the easy installation, as it provides good ability to adapt to simple curves, as well as repositioning possibilities while installing. Follow this instructions for a PRO finish and durability:

    1. Indentify the area to protect and proceed to install in a warm area (avoid installing at temperatures lower than 12ºC/ 53 F)
    2. Clean the area to protect from dust, mud and debris as well as from rest of oils, or silicones, using alcohol or similar. Use only alcohol or alcohol derivatives. Do not use supermarket cleaners, as they have silicones that are the worst enemy of adhesives.
    3. Apply gently the Frame Guard, rubbing with your hand to help it adapt. While the glue is still fresh, you can reposition it if you placed it badly the first time.
    4. Apply pressure evenly around all the surface to help for a better adhesion
    5. Let it bond for some hours, and go use it!!!

We use a strong automotive-grade adhesive, so for removal, we recommend using a hairdryer or heatgun to soften the adhesive and PVC and to facilitate the operation

    Fork Guards

AMS honeycomb Fork Guards are very easy and straightforward to install. They have been designed to cover (without the need of trimming) most XC, Trail, All Mountain, Enduro and even DH forks. Follow this instructions for a PRO finish and durability. And watch the video for a graphical explanation:

    1. Clean the fork legs from dust, mud and debris as well as from rest of oils, or silicones, using alcohol or similar. Use only alcohol or alcohol derivatives. Do not use supermarket cleaners, as they have silicones that are the worst enemy of adhesives.
    2. Cut the adhesive backing in two for easier manipulation. You can use the small, rectangular part to decorate arch of your fork, or to use as cable rube protection anywhere.
    3. Before applying, check exactly where you'd want the Fork Guard to be applied. We made two small V marks at the top and bottom of the AMS Fork Guard, to help you align it horizontally.
    4. Apply the center of the Fork Guard from top to bottom, rubbing with your hand gently. While the glue is still fresh, you can reposition it if you placed it badly the first time. Be careful not touching the adhesive side with dirty hands.
    5. Apply pressure evenly around all the surface, from center to the sides to help for a better adhesion
    6. Let it bond for some hours, and go use it!!!. Well we know you can't wait. OK, you can go ;-)

    Additional recommendations:

    • Install in a warm area. Avoid installing at temperatures below 12ºC/53 F.
    • We use a strong automotive-grade adhesive, so for removal, we recommend using a hairdryer or heatgun to soften the adhesive and PVC and to facilitate the operation.

    Crank Guards

AMS honeycomb Crank Guards are very easy and straightforward to install. They have been designed to cover (without the need of trimming) most Carbon and even aluminum Cranks. Follow this instructions for a PRO finish and durability. And watch the video for a graphical explanation:

    1. Clean the Crank arm from dust, mud and debris as well as from rest of oils, or silicones, using alcohol or similar. Use only alcohol or alcohol derivatives. Do not use supermarket cleaners, as they have silicones that are the worst enemy of adhesives.
    2. Cut the adhesive backing in two for easier manipulation.
    3. Before applying, check exactly where you'd want the Crank Guard to be applied. Depending on the length of the cranks consider to take off the small part.
    4. Apply the center of the Crank Guard from top to bottom, rubbing with your hand gently. While the glue is still fresh, you can reposition it if you placed it badly the first time. Be careful not touching the adhesive side with dirty hands.
    5. Apply pressure evenly around all the surface, from center to the sides to help for a better adhesion.
    6. Let it bond for some hours, and go use it!!!. Well we know you can't wait. OK, you can go ;-)

    Kickstand

A minimalist and portable bike stand.

First time installation: Pre-adjust depending on your bike type

    AMS kickstand bike type examples
    1. Slide into the non-drive crank arm
    2. Rotate cranks and kickstand to almost vertical (5:30 clock position). PRO TIP: Make sure base of the kickstand sits flat
    3. Make final kickstand height adjustments if necessary

Take note of your height setting for future use with this bike.

Note: It may also be used on inclined surfaces if you block one of the brake levers using a rubber band or similar.

    Number Plates

A simple, easy to install and robust number plate so cool that you may want to keep it installed once the race dust is settled.

    How to install?:

    1. Bend 90º the 4 attachment strips
    2. Lay out the number plate on your bike to decide if you fix the lower attachment strips over or under the fork clamp. PRO TIP: under if your bike head tube is short (on the DH bike in the video). The idea is that the number plate remains flat once installed
    3. Slide the zip ties through the 3 fixing holes. PRO TIP: Take into account if the lower attachment is over or under the fork clamp. Slide the zip ties through the inside if over (on the Enduro bike in the video). Through the exterior if under (on the DH bike in the video)
    4. Start by fixing the number plate around the handlebar using the zip ties.
    5. Then proceed with the fork clamp. Tight it as needed to adjust to your preferred position.
    6. Tighten the 4 zip ties and cut. Number plate ready

    Straps

The AMS OS Strap has been designed for those Oh Shit!!! (OS) moments when you flat. You'd probably need a tube, tire levers and maybe a CO2 cartridge. You can pack them into a backpack or, as we love, ride backpack free. A smart and elegant solution without velcros or metal parts that can damage your frame.

    How to install?. Very easy:

    1. Wrap your essentials: tube, CO2 cartridge and tire levers as compact as you can

    2. Place them on the spot you want to carry them making sure there's no interference with any moving part.

    3. Wrap the AMS OS Strap around. It's important to pass the excess strap through the keeper.

    4. Tighten the strap uniformly around and go ride!!!

    Crank Defenders

    Defend and style your cranks.

    How to install?:

    1. Remove pedals and throughly clean crank arms with alcohol or similar. If the crank arm has any kind of adhesive film protector, remove it, as crank arm defenders fit very tight.

    2. Lubricate crank arm with oil.

    3. Soften the crank arm part with the help of a hairdryer or heat-gun.

    4. Immediately lubricate the interior with oil and slide them through the crank arm with the help of a cloth or the tip part

    5. Re-install pedals and go ride!!!

    Stems

It's very important to carefully follow this instructions in order to ensure the best performance and longest life of you AMS stem. Failure to follow these instructions can result in component failure, which can lead to loss of control of the bicycle and result in serious personal injury or death, so take it seriously and follow the instructions.

AMS recommends the installation by a qualified bicycle mechanic using appropriate professional tools. The use of a calibrated torque wrench to tight screws to torque specification (5 Nm or 44inLb) is a must. Screws too loose or too tight can cause failure. All Mountain Style assumes no liability for products that are improperly installed or installed on vehicles other than mountain bikes.

    Before

    • Verify that the stem steerer clamp diameter (1 1/8") is compatible with the fork steerer tube diameter. Don't try to install it if it isn't. Incorrect mating can cause component failure.
    • Verify that the stem steerer and handlebar clamps are free of any burrs or surface defects. Sharp edges can damage the steerer tube or handlebar, which could result in component failure. Clean the clamping areas with alcohol.
    • Verify that the steerer tube is free of any burrs or surface defects. Clear the steerer with alcohol.
    • Verify that the handlebar is free of any burrs or surface defects. Clear the handlebar with alcohol.
    • Do not tight the handlebar collar screws of the stem without the handlebar in. This can cause the stem handlebar collars to deform plastically which could result in component failure.
    • Do not tight the steerer clamp screws of the stem without the steerer in. This can cause the stem steerer clamps to deform plastically which could result in component failure.

    During

    • Place the spacers needed in the head tube to tune in your cockpit height, and slide the stem over the steerer tube without forcing.
    • Install the top cap and spacers if needed, and using a calibrated torque wrench, compact the headset/stem unit by tightening the top cap screw to the torque specified by the headset manufacturer.
    • Lightly tighten the steerer clamp screws until the screw head and grower washer seat against the clamp surface.
    • Position the handlebar so that it is centered in the handlebar clamp and adjust rotation as preferred. Secure both collars with the top two screws as shown in figure 1 below. Tighten the top two screws to the specified torque (5Nm or 44inLb).

Collar installation order for AMS Om Stem

    • Both collars top areas should be in contact with the stem body as shown in figure 1 above. Gap should only be on bottom two screws as shown in figure 2 above
    • Re-check handlebar position and adjust as needed. Insert and tighten the bottom two screws alternating between screws, one turn at a time, to the specified torque (5Nm or 44inLb).
    • Align handlebar and stem straight to front wheel and using a calibrated torque wrench, torque the steerer clamp screws, alternating between screws, one turn at a time, until torque specification (5Nm or 44inLb) is achieved.

    After

    • Using a calibrated torque wrench, re-torque all screws after the first ride. If there is any screw movement, re-torque after next ride.
    • Re-torque all screws every month.
    • Regularly inspect all components for any damage (cracks, chips, etc.) and replace component upon detection. In case of crash or any impact, carefully check all parts for any visible damage. Inspect your stem often. If you have any doubts about the integrity of any part, consult your All Mountain Style dealer.

    Great customer service

I ordered it clear and changed my mind last minute to the wolf one. The order was already placed and they still helped me out and shipped out the correct one ASAP. Frame guard itself looked awesome but wish I had a few more arrow pieces to put all under my bottom tube. The long piece ended up going up top since it didn’t fit the underneath part of bottom tube due to stock guards on the Hightower frame.
