More comfort without losing control. AMS 2.5 mm bar tape is made for riders who want cushioning on longer road rides, broken tarmac and gravel. Choose between two different surface feels: Sterrato or Tessel.

Choose your 2.5 mm bar tape

AMS Sterrato 2.5 mm prioritises a tacky hand feel and vibration damping for gravel, rough roads and long-distance riding. It is available in black and grey.

AMS Tessel 2.5 mm has a structured, tessellated surface and a precise, controlled feel, with added cushioning for road and all-road riding. Choose black, red or white.

Grip and comfort for longer rides

Both families use PU and EVA materials with gel-based damping. They have a nominal thickness of 2.5 mm and feel approximately 3.0 mm when installed, depending on wrapping tension and overlap. Comfort also depends on bar shape, tyre pressure, hand position and riding conditions.
